The Art of RV Travel

Prior to setting out on the road, my husband and I lived small.  When we lived in Florida, we rented an apartment that was 492 square feet.  Yelling "Honey, I'm home" never applied to us since we could easily see each other the minute one of us entered the apartment!  When we bought our first house in Connecticut, it was a quaint farm house of only 1199 square feet.  Compared to many American's standards, that is some tight living space!  However, Brian and I never found it to be too much of a problem for us.

Visiting the Hills of South Dakota

South Dakota is one of those states that when looked at it on a map, the state doesn't look huge.  However, when actually driving through the state it felt never ending!  Brian and I finally came to a campground outside of Custer, South Dakota, putting us in a good position to tackle the sites of the Black Hills, including Mount Rushmore national memorial and the Crazy Horse memorial.

Visiting Dave's Place in Center Point Texas

One of the great things about touring around central Texas is you never really know what you are going to encounter around the next curve in the road. Our adventures normally consist of taking a GPS with us so we can find our way back, pointing in a direction and seeing what we can find along the way. At other times, you get lucky and find some like-minded Rvers who are motorcyclists and enjoy the freedom of the open road and the thrill of seeing something new.

Some Places Should Sell Tourist T-shirts!

As seasoned travelers, Rvers have probably seen their fair share of places that should not sell t-shirts.  I am talking about those cheesy, tacky, "I am on vacation" t-shirts.
